New poster and website for Mercury Fishing Cup II

The Mercury Fishing Cup is the new format of the French championship for lure fishing for carnivorous fish on boats, organized by the Fédération Française des Pêches Sportives (FFPS) with Mercury Marine. The new poster and website for the Mercury Fishing Cup II, featuring all 2024 partners, are now available.

French Boat Fishing Championship for predators

After Poses sur la Seine, Eure (27), it's the turn of Lac de Vassivière, straddling Haute-Vienne (87) and Creuse (23), to host the MFC. The winning duo will take home the title of Champion de France des pêches des carnassiers en bateau 2024, the MFC trophy and a cheque for 10,000 euros.

Yann Diquerreau marketing manager at Mercury Marine France and co-organizer of the MFC, says: "Since last year, this event has been considered the flagship of freshwater fishing. It was with this in mind that we came up with the 2024 poster concept. The MFC shines and highlights the competitors and the many partners who have joined us for this second edition."

A dedicated website

At the same time, the MFC organizers launched a brand new website: mercuryfishingcup.com

The aim of this website is to focus exclusively on the MFC, presenting all the practical information, such as the sporting rules, the registration procedure, as well as the operation of the application used to register for the MFC and measure fish during the competition (pike, zander and perch).

Michel Polydor president of the Fédération Française des Pêches Sportives (FFPS)/Carnassier, underlined the importance of the website's launch in promoting this major competition. "The site contains all the information on the teams taking part this year, as well as those who took part in last year's event. A dedicated page features articles, photos and videos from the first edition of the MFC."

Alexandre Portheault fFPS/Carnassier vice-president, said: "We've designed a simple, clear website that highlights this prestigious competition, as well as all MFC partners, classified by partnership level."

The presentations of the website and the official poster provide an opportunity to list all the partners of MFC II. Here they are, by type and alphabetical order:
