The second season of the Junior Fishing Tour came to a spectacular close on Saturday, July 18, in Fillé-sur-Sarthe (72), during a memorable day dedicated to recreational fishing. Nearly 100 young anglers competed in the finals, which featured a very high technical level, at the Rouanneraies site, south of Le Mans.

A racing circuit for young people

The Junior Fishing Tour is a competitive circuit for young anglers under the age of 18. It features two disciplines?coarse fishing and lure fishing?with two age categories: Juniors and Espoirs.

The competition takes place in several stages, beginning with departmental rounds, followed by regional finals for the top competitors, and culminating in a grand national final. The goal is to give young people the opportunity to meet one another, improve their skills, and win the French championship titles in their respective categories.

This wonderful fishing festival brought together the best young competitors from all over France in an atmosphere that was at once competitive, friendly, and passionate. The event, which was free and open to the public, showcased the energy of an entire generation of anglers.

Congratulations to all the participants for their dedication throughout the season, as well as to their coaches, without whom this adventure would not have been possible.
