Mercury Fishing IV
After landmark events in Poses (2023), Vassivière (2024) and Saint-Pardoux (2025), the Mercury Fishing Cup (MFC) continues to develop on a stretch of water renowned for its pike, zander and perch populations. This artificial reservoir, with its vast navigation zones, should offer particularly favorable conditions at this time of year, when carnivore activity is generally high.
The 2025 edition had already marked a turning point with several notable changes: the arrival of a co-organizing title partner, a strengthening of the pool of premium partners, a total prize fund of 17,500 euros, including 10,000 euros for the winning crew, and innovative live coverage enabling the competition to be followed in real time.

The title up for grabs
Registration for the 2026 edition will open in June via the FishAndYou app (iOS and Android), with an entry fee set at 500 euros per crew of two anglers. The stakes remain unchanged: to win the title of French carnivorous boat fishing champions, awarded by the FFPS.
For the record, the 2025 edition was won by the duo Tom Morand and Samuel Videauporte on Lac de Saint-Pardoux, with the Mercury Fishing Cup trophy, inspired by the V8 Pro XS engine, and a cheque for 10,000 euros. The prizes and new features planned for 2026 will be announced shortly.
An ambitious edition
For the organizers, the ambition remains strong. Yann Diquerreau, marketing manager at Mercury Marine France and co-organizer, underlines the enthusiasm generated by the new format since 2023, among competitors, partners and industry brands alike.
The FFPS Carnassier has the same dynamic. Its president, Michel Polydor, is announcing an ambitious 2026 edition, prepared alongside Alexandre Portheault and Yann Diquerreau, with the firm determination to offer an event that lives up to the expectations of the community and competitors alike.
