The Grand Pavois Fishing 2026 is already sold out. With three months to go before the event, all 35 spots available for brand teams have been filled, once again confirming the appeal of this competition, which is unique in France.

Organized as part of the Grand Pavois La Rochelle, the event will take place from September 22 to 27 at the Fishing Area and the marina, with the competition scheduled for Friday, September 25, through Sunday, September 27, in the morning.

A unique concept reserved for brands

The Grand Pavois Fishing remains the only French competition today that is exclusively reserved for brands. Boat manufacturers, engine manufacturers, and equipment suppliers gather there to put their products to the test under real-world conditions, while interacting with the public.

For the 2026 edition, 35 teams will be participating, along with two guest crews from partner competitions: the Open des Glénan and Sailtica Fishing. The number of participants has been intentionally limited to ensure optimal fishing conditions in the area.

Whether on the water or on land, the event gives enthusiasts the chance to discover the latest products, test boats at sea, and talk with pro staff, ambassadors, and fishing guides. Training sessions on onboard electronics will also enhance the experience.

A particularly impressive lineup of brands

This edition will bring together the industry?s key players, with strong representation from engine manufacturers, shipyards, and equipment suppliers. Among the confirmed teams:

  • Suzuki Marine France (2 crews)
  • Yamaha Motor Europe (3 teams), defending champion
  • Honda Marine (2 crews)
  • Mercury Pro Team and Lowrance/Mercury
  • Garmin, Furuno, Navicom (2 crews)
  • Atlanticraft and Marine Rib (3 crews)
  • Nowe Atlantique (2 crews)
  • April Marine
  • ADM (2 crews)
  • Ribwest and Ribwest/Yamaha (2 crews)
  • Difama and Gemini (2 crews)
  • Team Zeppelin
  • Hica Boats
  • Boats Distribution / Tiger Marine
  • Fishing Pouch
  • Nautique Services La Rochelle
  • The Union of Fishing Instructors and Guides
  • Pescavel

Of particular note is the high-profile arrival of Zeppelin and, above all, Pescavel, a naval architecture firm based on the island of Oléron, which will be showcasing a highly anticipated ?one-off? fishing catamaran.

Who will take over from Yamaha in 2026?

The 2025 edition was dominated by the Yamaha ProFishing 3 team (Yoann Houssais, Sylvain Lozier, Nicolas Jeanne), who put in a solid performance, winning two rounds and scoring a total of 520 points.

They finished ahead of Yamaha ProFishing 1 and Honda Marine / Kerfil, while the French Association of Fishing Instructors and Guides earned a strong 4th-place finish, thanks in large part to a dedicated and high-performing all-female crew.

The suspense remains high for 2026, with an even more packed and competitive field.

A Key Event for Recreational Anglers

Beyond the competition, the Grand Pavois Fishing has established itself as a key event for all anglers planning to buy a boat. The event offers the opportunity to:

  • Compare a wide selection of fishing boats all in one place
  • Test the units under real-world conditions
  • Talk directly with professionals
  • Discover the latest innovations in electronics and equipment
