History of Sailtica Fishing
Sailtica Fishing was created in 2013 by members of the Sailtica association. At the time, the competition took place in Pornichet's marina. Anglers in kayaks or boats had to win by scoring as many points as possible over the two days of competition.
In 2019, the organizers have decided to change the ranking and to run two completely separate classifications, one for kayak lure fishing teams and one for boat lure fishing teams, much to the delight of the many participants.
In 2020, a change of venue. Sailtica Fishing will now take place in the commune of La Turballe, for more efficient organization.
And it was in 2023 that the association decided to change the organization of the event for the last time, creating an "Open boats" competition, while retaining Sailtica Fishing's distinctive character. Indeed, competing teams can be made up of 2 or 3 anglers per boat, and the competition remains open to all anglers.
Conviviality and sharing for Sailtica Fishing
The organizers of the 11 ème his year's Sailtica Fishing, like its predecessors, features two days of competition in a spirit of sharing and conviviality. Two days during which numerous crews come to confront each other and enjoy convivial moments between enthusiasts. It's an opportunity for all levels of angler, amateur or more experienced, to get together in good spirits and share their common passion.
