Step-by-step instructions for RecFishing registration
- Access RecFishingâeuros¯: log on to the official website or download the smartphone app (Android 7.0+ or iOS 15.1+).
- Create a userâeuros¯ account: on the home page, select "âeuros¯Create aâeuros¯ account". Enter your personal details (last name, first name, date of birth, e-mail address).
- Check your identityâeuros¯: a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. Click on the link to activate your account (standard activation procedure).
- Enter your fishing profiles: select the channel (English Channel, Atlantic, etc.), target species and fishing methods.
- Activate your registrationâeuros¯: your registration is valid for one year after completion of the form. This digital document may be presented in the event of an inspection.
- Before each fishing action: log in, indicate the target species if it is concerned by the obligation, check that your annual registration is valid and then make your exit.
- Enter your catchesâeuros¯: on the same day, enter the weight, species, location, type of fishing and gear used for each catch, before midnight.
Practical advice
The application works off-grid, so you can record your catches even at sea, but data is synchronized via the Internet as soon as the network is restored.
If you don't have a smartphone, you can also make your declaration from a computer via a dedicated website.
Registration and catch declaration are free of charge.
