can you introduce yourself to the readers?
i am 31 years old. I live in the north of Spain, in a quiet neighborhood called Cruces, on the outskirts of Bilbao.
I usually fish rocky areas, shallow waters looking for maragotas, sea bass, bream and dentex generally, although I also frequent both estuaries in search of sea bass and reservoirs looking for pike and river perch.
The rod I'm using the most lately is the Micro GamerI SSD S74UL which has an action up to 16 grams and a stradic 1000 reel loaded with a 0.06 braided line.

can you tell us about your beginnings in fishing?
My beginnings in fishing were from a very young age, I calculate that with 5 years old I was already frequenting the shores always accompanied by my father and later my brother. At the beginning I used to fish for black bass and also some surf casting in search of Sargos and Doradas, although it is true that with time I started to like rock fishing and spinning, which I have been practicing for about 17 years.

when, how and why did you accept to be Pro-Staff?
About 2 years ago my brother Alex Herranz was proclaimed champion of Spain spinning and thanks to that he became known nationally, shortly after Ramon contacted him, thus beginning a small collaboration. One summer during our vacations we had the pleasure to share a good fishing day with Ramón Lozano who could check the fishing potential and the benefits we were getting from Fiish lures which we have been using since the beginning.
As for the reason for being a Pink Fish Pro-Staff, I consider it a unique opportunity to test new products and give a voice to the new and of course the old lures of this great brand.

and how did you hear about the brand?
A great friend from Alicante let me try a Black minnow 90 many years ago and since then I have improved my results in terms of quality and catches.
Being an ambassador, what does that mean to you?
It means a privilege and pride to be one of the lucky ones to give it a voice by sharing videos and photos of this brand, especially on social networks.

your best memory, or an anecdote, as a Pro-Staff to share with our readers?
My best memory as a Pro-Staff was a fishing day with Ramón Lozano in the waters of Almería, for the great variety of fish that we managed to put in dry, as well as for landing one of my favorite species which is the Grouper and thanks to a crazy sand of 120 I was able to catch one in the last hour of fishing of the day.

how do you see fishing in Spain?
Unfortunately I have never visited the UK and Italy. I went to France for a couple of days spinning and it was quite fruitful in terms of seabass and a few Baila.
In Spain there are good fishing areas such as the area of Galicia, the Ebro delta or the area of Huelva, among others, but I think that the coast is quite overcrowded and exploited. Although with a good knowledge there are still fish to have a good fishing days.
and how do you see it in the fishing world in general and/or in the Pro-Staff world of one or more brands?
This fishing world is incredible and never ceases to surprise you, when you think you have everything under control, the sea shows you again that this is not the case and that you have to renew yourself and keep learning day by day, because fish can change their habits and areas of habit.

any advice for anglers who someday want to join a Pro-Staff team?
The advice I would give to new Pro-Staff would be to enjoy the journey and never lose the illusion and the desire to keep trying lures and doing what they like the most.
