Highlights of this first edition
This public and professional event brought together numerous sea and freshwater fishing enthusiasts, with manufacturers and distributors in attendance, as well as various fishing federations and associations, to the delight of fishing enthusiasts of all kinds. The event brought together over 100 exhibitors in an 11,000 m² area combining indoor and outdoor activities on the banks of the Erdre River.

Numerous visitors found a real village of associations hosted by the FNPF, with fun workshops, fishing technique initiations, simulators, aquariums and an educational trail for the youngest.

Visitors were able to try out boats and kayaks, enjoy demonstrations by the ambassadors of the many brands present, and even take part in master classes and technical conferences.
The festival once again demonstrated the economic and cultural importance of recreational fishing in France, which attracts over 2.5 million regular anglers and generates some 4 billion euros a year, supporting 30,000 direct and indirect jobs.

An event eagerly awaited by fishermen and industry professionals alike
A long-awaited event for fishing enthusiasts and professionals alike, with over 100 exhibitors showcasing their products: rods, reels, lures, accessories, electronics and boats for recreational fishing. A successful first edition that encouraged exchanges between industry players, amateurs and professionals.

This first edition of the Festival National de la Pêche in Nantes marked a new turning point for recreational fishing in France, offering a unique venue for meetings, discoveries and events for all enthusiasts.
