A look back at the Salon Multi-Pêche d'Alsace: a promising first edition in Colmar

On February 14 and 15, 2026, the first Salon Multi-Pêche d'Alsace was held at the Parc des Expositions in Colmar. A major event for fishing enthusiasts, supported by the Les Carnassiers Boerschois association and already recognized for its dynamism. Meet Michael Teterycz, president, and Thierry Frindel, treasurer of the organizing association.

A great success for a first edition in Colmar

"It was a great premiere, with an exceptional turnout," enthuses Michael Teterycz. The organizers' objective was clear: to satisfy both visitors and exhibitors. In their opinion, they succeeded, since the quality of the welcome, the diversity of the stands and the convivial atmosphere won everyone over.

But such success is above all based on a considerable human investment. The two managers would like to pay tribute to the work of the many volunteers, without whom nothing would be possible. "We have a solid, motivated team, supported by our families. That's our strength," Thierry Frindel points out.

A biennial show to last

The organizers have opted for a biennial rhythm. "To reach this level of quality, you need time to do it right," they explain. A date has already been set for 2028, again in Colmar. The Parc des Expositions has proved to be an ideal venue: spacious, modern and very welcoming.

From Rosheim to Colmar: a constantly evolving adventure

The project was born of a shared passion. Michael Teterycz and his accomplice Thierry, long-time animators and demonstrators for fishing tackle brands, dreamed of a major event in Alsace. After several editions in Rosheim, followed by four successful years at Strasbourg's Zénith, the team took Colmar to a new level.
"In Rosheim, we used to turn away exhibitors for lack of space. Today, we have 20 more exhibitors than in Strasbourg, and a smoother flow of visitors thanks to better organization of the spaces," comments Michael Teterycz.

A spirit of conviviality and openness

One of the highlights of the weekend: the exhibitors' evening, a moment of relaxation and exchange between professionals and volunteers. And as with any growing event, the Salon Multi-Pêche d'Alsace intends to expand even further.
In future, the organizers hope to attract more of the industry's major brands, which were still too absent this year. Michael Teterycz also regrets the absence of the fishing federations, believing that such a regional event deserves their symbolic presence.

A fine promise for the future

With this first successful edition in Colmar, the Salon Multi-Pêche d'Alsace has established itself as a must-attend event in the North-East for fishing enthusiasts of all disciplines. An event built with heart, passion and a healthy dose of team spirit.
