CWC Team

Pierre Monjarret and Stefan Trumstedt did not make much noise during the previous episode not validating any fish. We know that the duo is capable of anything in the stops of the game and it is Pierre Monjarret who maintains the myth at the beginning by putting in the dry a superb fish of 1,07m for 8,2 kg allowing the team to take the point of the Big Fish virtually held until now by Leech/Gator with a fish of 7,56 kg. Except that the joys will stop there for CWC which knows a final episode as difficult as the previous oneâeuros¦
Team XL-Marin/Mercury

The situation is not getting any better for Pasi Tapponen and Lars Litzell either. The difficulty of fishing had pushed the duo to take the road in the direction of a new spot in the previous episode. Arrived on the spot for this last episode, they bogged down successively their car then their boat what forces them to seek help which they will find with a farmer of the cornerâeuros¦ The fishermen are finally on the water but in spite of their efforts, this final will not bring the expected result.
Headbanger Lures Team

Markus Teilus and Emanuel Swärd virtually hold 2 of the 3 points for the last day after the penultimate episode thanks to the catch of many nice fishes including 2 metered. The team continues its momentum with the catch of a new pike metered by Markus Teilus at the beginning of the last episode: 111cm for 8,44kg. The duo consolidated their Top 5, took the opportunity to steal the Big Fish point from CWC and followed up with a 90+ to finish this competition with a last fish caught at the very end of the game. A fish allowing the team to increase their Top 5 to 520 cm and to leave with this point in their pocket, the point of the Big Fish being finally stolen by Vision.
Vision Team

While the previous episode was not to mark with red iron for the duo, the streamer of Markus Tandefelt finally crosses the road of the big pike so coveted: 111 cm for 10.12 kg! The point of the Big Fish changes hands once again! The duo decided, according to the plan, to change pool for a pool further downstream, still looking for big fish. Contact at the beginning of the game for Niklaus Bauer and a new big fish : 1,09 m for 10,56 kg ! A 2 ème fish of more than 10 kg which consolidates the point of the Big Fish and completes the Top 5 of the team! But the demonstration continues and Niklaus Bauer illustrates himself twice by biting again a big river pike accusing 1,04 m on the toise then a smaller fish (of 96 cm all the sameâ?¦). The end is approaching but with this impressive result, the duo decides once again to move to a new pool further downstream in the hope of landing another big fish. A welcome fish of "only" 85 cm nevertheless allowed the team to improve their Top 5, which Markus Tendefelt consolidated with what could have been the most important fish of the competition for the team as this 97 cm fish allowed the team to take the Top 5 point from Headbanger, to award themselves 2 of the 3 points of the day and simply to win the competition. This was without counting on the remarkable and young Headbanger team which validates a last fish of 101 cm in the last minutes allowing it to take again the advantage on the Top 5!
Jiggar.nu Team

Jakob Hanc and Björn Boström improved their Top 5 from the start with two pikes of 85 and 97 cm caught quickly one after the other and then unrolled by chaining the fish one after the other. If the absence of big fish in the pile does not allow them to challenge the Headbanger Lures team on the Top 5, Jiggar.nu takes nevertheless quickly a serious option on the number. Their consistency throughout this final allows them to leave with this point.
Raymarine/Daiwa Team

We could repeat the story from the previous episode regarding the duo formed by Torbjörn "Buster" Odén and Pär Lindberg. The team remains focused on its goal by aiming for the number and the Top 5 on the river. The 2 anglers are having a hard time finding active fish. Like the previous episode, there will be little action on the Raymarine/Daiwa boat.
Team Sporting

Stephan Nielsen and Rikard Bergström progress on the famous river of big pikes but once again, the result will not be famous, unfortunatelyâeuros¦ A 12 ème edition that will not remain in the annals for the team. See you in 2022!
Team Leech/Gator

Markus Maliszewski and Alexander Lexén virtually hold the Big Fish point at the beginning of the final with a 7.42 kg fish. This point was quickly taken away from them by CWC thanks to Pierre Monjarret's 8.2 kg fish. This point will then pass between the hands of Headbanger to finally land at Vision which puts everyone in agreement with a Big Fish of 10,56 kg. This last episode is complicated for the giant trackers who will not validate any new point during this final and ending the competition with a counter at 2 points as the CWC and Vision teams. It is then that their very big fish of 1,26m for 14,02 kg is going to make again speak about him since it is the biggest fish of the competition and brings back 1 additional point to the team. Markus Maliszewski and Alexander Lexén managed to get the coveted victory in Fly Vs Jerk.
Review of the points

The suspense was at its highest until the last minute and we witnessed a real battle for the big fish, with the Big Fish point changing hands and the Headbanger and Vision teams challenging each other for the Top 5!
Headbanger finally left with a well-deserved point, while the team dashed Vision's hopes of victory by 4 small centimeters, a victory that went to Leech/Gator, a first! The Vision team which, even if it came very close to victory, demonstrated throughout the competition that one should never give up fishing, that rigor and self-sacrifice always pay off as shown by their phenomenal fishing during this final!
To conclude, we can say that this 12 ème edition of Fly Vs Jerk was an excellent vintage even if we can regret that the Fly part of Fly Vs Jerk is represented by only one team... See you in 2022 for the 13th edition ème season!
