A simple, effective lure
A wobbling spoon is a metal lure made from a single piece of curved metal. The lure's oscillating and wobbling action from left to right has earned it the name "wobbling spoon". Two holes, at the head and tail of the lure, allow the line to be tied on one side and the single or treble hook on the other. Behind this simplistic-looking piece of metal lies a highly technical and formidable lure.
Distance and precision
First of all, the material of which it is made is very dense. As a result, this lure will cast far easily and precisely. This is an advantage on rivers when you need to fish precisely in restricted spots, or on lakes when you need to cast far, even in strong winds.

Discretion for wary fish
Its leaf-like shape gives it a very attractive swimming action and a set of visual and vibratory stimuli. It's a far cry from the powerful vibrations of a swimming fish or a spinning spoon... And that's often what makes the difference with hard-to-bait fish that are no longer attracted or even put off by too many stimuli. For while a wobbling spoon may look vaguely pisciform, once in action in the water, it looks very much like a small fish swimming nonchalantly with amplitude.

Depending on the shape (wider or narrower), the curve (more or less pronounced) or the metal thickness, you'll get very different swims, more or less hollow fishing or different types of animation! This means you can use undulators in a wide variety of situations.
Models for trout will generally be between 2 and 8 cm in size, weighing between 0.5 and 20 g.
