Grand pavois Fishing 2025: quota filled with 35 top-brand boats

The Grand Pavois Fishing 2025, a unique and major event dedicated to sport fishing at sea, will be held in La Rochelle from Tuesday, September 23 to Sunday, September 28, 2025, with the competition rounds organized on the morning of Friday, September 26 and Sunday, September 28.

Highlights of the 2025 edition

Full quota: 35 boats from all the major brands officially registered, an exclusive line-up guaranteeing safety, conviviality and top-level competition.

A "no kill" competition reserved exclusively for crews representing brands of boats, engines or equipmentâeuros¯: a unique concept in France.

Needless to say, this year's Grand Pavois Fishing is set to be another exceptional one, with 35 teams now officially registered. Please note that the names of the final crews will change as the event progresses.

These include the ever-popular Nowe Atlantique (3 crews), Suzuki Marine France (2 crews), April Marine (1 crew), Navicom (1 crew), Navicom / Centaure (1 crew), Kent Marine (1 crew), Furuno (1 crew), Garmin (1 crew), Mercury Marine France (1 crew), Atelier du Marin (1 crew), Pochon Fishing (1 crew), Mer M'Aide (1 crew), Le Syndicat des Moniteurs Guides de Pêche (1 crew), Nautique Services La Rochelle (1 crew), Honda Motor Europe (1 crew), Tiger Marine France (1 crew), Searibs/MMG (1 crew), Marine Rib et Atlanticraft (2 crews), Eole Performance (1 crew), La Sailtica Fishing (1 crew) and Yamaha Motor Europe (6 crews), as well as the return of Bénéteau (1 crew), Amiaud (2 crews) and Ribwest (1 crew), and the arrival of Courseulles Mer et Passion (1 crew). Quota filled for this 2025 edition, with 35 crews from all the major brands registered!

Two distinct fishing zonesâeuros¯

The Pertuis d'Antioche (main area around the île d'Oléron and the île de Ré, technical and rich in sea bass)âeuros¯;

The Pertuis Breton (a more sheltered retreat facing the north of the Ile de Ré, suitable for other techniques).

Fishing area ashore and Marina Grand Pavois Fishingâeuros¯: events, boat trials, equipment demonstrations with pro-staffs, brand stands, electronics training at sea.

Major partnerships renewedâeuros¯: April Marine, Suzuki Marine, Ocean Safety, Météo Consult, Mercury Marine France...

Atmosphere and challenges

The best teams and ambassadors from France are expected to attend, offering a complete panorama of what's new in the world of fishing boats¯: engines, fittings, electronics, accessories, etc.

The 2024 edition was won by Suzuki Fishing Team 1 (521 pts), ahead of Shimano and Pochon Fishing.

The event is also a major boat show, bringing together over 800 brands and 70âeuros¯000 visitors expected at the Port des Minimes throughout the week.
