The MAG SLIM (F) from YoZuri
It's my revelation of the year. As a kayaker, I can fish in water depths of less than 1 metre. Both for trolling and casting. It's a long minnow that comes in 130 and 150 mm. I fish with the 130 mm version, whose mackerel color has brought me some nice fish this season. I use it on the edges of sandy beaches or flush with the tables of oyster beds. It's a silent lure, so I use it in clear water when the fish are coming up on it from quite a distance.

The RAFALEA JT from Trefle Création
An articulated minnow with small lip from Trefle Création, it comes in 79 mm and 93 mm versions. I used the 93 mm version. It casts pretty far thanks to its mass transfer and locking system that keeps the tail of the lure in line with the body. It swims as soon as it enters the water. In slow or fast retrieves, it positions itself perfectly in the current. Comes in a dozen colors. Personally, I've had very good results with the ayu clover color.

The HARDCORE MINNOW FLAT (SP) from Duel
It's a sinking pencil available in 110 and 130 mm, I use the 110 mm version, it's the shiny brown color with white sides that brought me the most catches, the blue version also worked well. I use it for casting/hauling or trolling, at depths of up to 6 metres. When stopping to retrieve, it stays upside down. Bites often occur during these stops. It's a noisemaker lure, its shape and swimming action reminiscent of one of the references in this type of lure over the last 5 years, the 3 DB Jerkbait 110 SP. I removed the tail hook, as I noticed that the attacks were mainly targeted at the head of the lure...

3DR-X Pencil (F) from YoZuri
This is a small 75 mm noisemaker surface lure. This little lure won me two of my best sessions this year. The prism gold black and prism silver black versions were the ones that caught the most fish. The black version worked well at daybreak. Despite its low weight of 7.5 grams, it can be cast quite far. It has a natural Walking the dog action. I also recommend stopping the animation often and leaving it still for a few seconds before animating it again.

The CRYSTAL MINNOW DD (F) from YoZuri
The last of this season's list of featured lures. It's nothing new, but it's often at the top of the catch list every season. Maybe also because it's just right for my spots and fishing styles. Part of each session is dedicated to trolling for fish, as I hate not being on the move. It comes in a dozen colors in sizes 90, 110 and 130 mm. I mostly use the 90 mm, as it's a big, noisy lure, and as I hold my rod in my hand when trolling, it pulls in my arm. I prefer mackerel, sardine and especially pearly white. This color was formidable last summer on striped bonito in the Brest harbor. I use it in water heights of up to 15 meters.

This list is not exhaustive, but these are the lures that brought me the most catches this year in the swimming fish family.
