An eagerly awaited event
The Fédération Française des Pêches Sportives (FFPS/Carnassier) and its title partner Mercury Marine will be staging this third edition on Lac de Vassivière on November 9 and 10, 2025.
The winning duo will be crowned French Champions, and will have the opportunity to join the French team for international competitions such as the World Championships.
Last year, winners Armand Michaud and William Courte took home a cheque for ?10,000.

A remarkable site
Located between Haute-Vienne (87) and Creuse (23), Lac de Vassivière is one of France's largest lakes, covering almost 1,000 hectares. Rich in aquatic fauna, it is home to an abundant population of pike, pike-perch and perch, providing an ideal setting for competition.
With its many coves and deep waters, the lake promises a fierce battle between the country's top anglers, where the choice of fishing options will be crucial.

Registration for this new edition will open on August 29, 2025 via the My FFPS app, available on Apple Store and Google Play.
