For over 30 years now, the Carrefour National Pêche et Loisirs has been a not-to-be-missed event for anglers. For three days, fishing enthusiasts have been able to discover the latest products, exchange ideas and share their passion.

A year of sharing

La 34 ème edition of the Carrefour National Pêche et Loisirs took place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st January 2024 at the Grande Halle d'Auvergne. The event was eagerly awaited by a large number of anglers. Admittedly, this edition was marked by the absence of many brands. However, attendance was good, and many visitors and exhibitors enjoyed taking part in this umpteenth edition.

This was an opportunity to spend more time discovering fishing brands, to talk at greater length with the representatives of the various brands present, and above all to take an interest in the smaller structures such as the various associations working to ensure the continued existence of our hobby.

Various events on offer

At this 34th ème all visitors were able to take full advantage of the various activities on offer at the show. The return of the target competition was greatly appreciated, especially by the younger visitors, many of whom strolled the aisles of the show. The top-quality TV set enabled exhibitors and personalities from the fishing world to discuss new products, give advice and talk about the various issues affecting the practice of our hobby. Once again, the presence of Youtubers and other Tick Tockeurs enabled the new generation of anglers to enthusiastically share and discuss their budding passion.

A successful edition?

Despite the many fears linked to the absence of certain brands representing the world of fishing, we can say that this new edition was a success. A more intimate edition, it's true, but one which had the advantage of maintaining the link between the ever-passionate visitors and the various brands of fishing equipment present. Electronics, boating, fishing guide instructors and the various associations present were all able to take advantage of the event and bring it to life with real enthusiasm. Most of them were already looking forward to coming back next year.
