Preparation of the primer
To make this particular groundbait you need a classic groundbait of flour with big particles. We add an important and indispensable element, especially in river, the earth! The proportion of this one depends on the current. The more current there is, the more earth will be added to the starter. It will make the groundbait heavier and help you stay on your fishing stroke. Small advice, before incorporating it in the groundbait, think of sifting it.

Preparation of the bait
The famous glued maggots, a particularity that gives good results on these courses and these types of fishing.
To prepare them, you need white maggots and gravel. There are white, grey or black gravels. The rendering will be different depending on which one you use. It is possible to make a mix.
First, sift the maggots well to remove all the sawdust. Then put them in a dry and clean container.

For the gravel, it is the same, it must be put in a dry and clean tank. And just like the bait, the proportion of gravel will depend on the current. The more current there is, the more gravel you will incorporate to weigh down the maggots so that they fall to the bottom and more precisely on your shot.

Before sprinkling glue, spray a little water on both trays to moisten them and mix well.

Finally, bring the two containers together, the one with the gravel and the one with the stuck maggots, mixing and stirring to make sure everything is homogeneous.

All you have to do is form small balls, just like the groundbait, and place them in the cup. You can also bait in the English way with this type of groundbait.
As far as baits for fishing are concerned, we must remain simple. Corn grit, potting soil, maggots, and above all do not hesitate to combine baits for more efficiency.
