While France is covered with snow, rain, and cold, it is on the region of Valencia in the South-East of Spain that the season begins. An air of vacation, between the orange trees, the first rays of sunshine, and the activity of the fish in wild river.

A competition open to all, but the level is so high, that it is prized by a large number of great anglers from all countries, and often present on the world championships. But the sharing, and the open-mindedness of everyone is incredible.
This competition has been proposed for more than 15 years. Divided into two formulas, either an exclusive feeder fishing, or a fishing with the big rod, English and Bolognese.
The river Jugar, lined with canisses, allows the carps and carassins to be the masters of the place. And it is for these wild fishes that we cross Europe to come to taste the sensations of these powerful fishes, under an atypical landscape.

The registration, its cost, but also the costs of bait, travel, the week, are not least. It is certainly an investment, but for many it is a budget vacation passion.
A mandatory preparation
The preparation to participate in such an event is not small. A logistical preparation, with the travel, the accommodation, the administrative documents. But also a physical preparation, for many of the numerous sport sessions to be ready. And for good reason, the places are atypical. Each place is lined with high stairs, or the round trips with the equipment to carry, go down and up. But also, in time of fishing, the physical demand on the quantities of baiting and the fights of the powerful fish require an important physical condition.
And to finish, a technical preparation beforehand, on the material, the lines and leaders. This often leads to an investment on the purchase of equipment in adequacy with the course.
