Britt CBP 120
The Britt CBP 120 from Tackle House is a floating stickbait that looks very simple at first glance. But what sets it apart from other lures of the same type is its substantial width. This gives it a chunky shape that can be seen by fish from underneath, with the shadow it creates standing out against the color of the sky.
Tackle House has used this width to position the balls internally, which move in the direction of the width, which is unusual. This internal ball position gives it a great rolling action and seen from below, this should increase the signals sent back from the sun to the depths.
It should just be noted that this particularity prevents it from being animated very quickly and requires a little time of adaptation as for the rhythm of the famous "walking the dog" to be executed.
At 33 grams, on paper, an H-type rod seems sufficient to use it, but I recommend using an XH or XXH rod instead. Because of its volume and weight, it puts the equipment to the test, both for casting and reeling. In any case, this lure is designed to fish in the sea for beautiful fish, so there is no real need to use it with an H-powered rod.
Use
In France, its use remains rather limited, and considering the colors proposed in the catalog, it will be suitable mainly for sea bass and bluefin tuna fishermen. For sea bass, this lure is really interesting, because it is close to the shape of a mullet, a prey appreciated by big sea bass!
Its solidity is good, it is assembled with very solid hooks and broken rings, which it is possible to replace by simple size 4/0, without altering the swimming or the balance of the lure.

There are other versions of this Britt, floating and sinking, going up to 17 centimeters and 115 grams for the biggest model. In France, it is mainly the 120 and 145 versions that will find buyers. However, to fish exotic fish such as carangue and red carp, the 175 version is a lure on which it can be interesting to bet.
