A hard-fought second round
The second round kicks off under a magnificent sunrise off the port of La Rochelle. Most of the boats were still fishing on the main zone, in slightly rougher seas than the day before. The drifts on the Perthuis d'Antioche allowed the crews to catch some nice fish, which could make all the difference in the final rankings...
This second round of the Grand Pavois Fishing 2024 will in fact go ahead without too many surprises for the final standings. Indeed, the podium will change little or not at all at the end of the second round, as the Suzuki Fishing Team keeps its first place with 228 additional points and wins this edition. Behind them, the Shimano team, with 110 additional points, took advantage of the second day of fishing to overtake the Pochon Fishing team and take second place.
