The anti-fisherman is an element of the rig that is almost indispensable to fish correctly for carp. If I had to choose only one, I would mention the anti-freaker of the leadcore type. You know this one! I explained in a previous article how to make a splice with it. And we will use it again.
What is an anti-emperor?
It is a rather rigid or semi-rigid part placed between your line body (braid or nylon) and your leader. As its name indicates, it is used to avoid frequent tangles when casting, but it is also used to protect your line (on the lower part) during fights. These are its two main functions.

What is the lead clip?
It is a small accessory that allows you to hang your lead without losing it during the casting or during the fight. It consists of a lead insert (clip) and a removable nipple (sleeve) to close the insert and prevent the lead from being ejected.
Ideal for removing your sinker at the end of a fishing trip or to quickly adapt to changing conditions. You can change your sinkers at will.

The material necessary for the realization
- Leadcore. I find this material to be the perfect material to start with. It has most of the qualities that one would look for in an effective anti-jammer. In addition, it will allow you to evolve in the design of an anti-fogger. The only drawback is that it is better to know how to make a splice, but now you know or you will know (see article splice). The X Core from Starbaits in 45 lbs is perfect.
- A lead clip that locks, with a sleeve. I insist on getting a model that locks otherwise during the fight but also during the casting, you risk to see your clip with your lead coming back on your line! In this sense, the Starbaits Lead Lock Lead Clips (with sleeves) are perfectly adapted.
- A swivel with a quick release. A Heli-Chod #8 swivel with a universal clip from Starbaits is the way to go, because it fits perfectly into the lead clip and the nipple of the lead clip.
- A splicing needle.
- A pair of scissors.
- A lighter.

The steps of realization
1- Unroll and cut 1 m of Leadcore. At the end of its realization, your anti-fence clip will be 80 cm long (lost during the realization of the 2 splices). This length is more than enough. You can even reduce it to 60 cm to save Leadcore.

2- Make a first splice by "trapping" your quick-release swivel.

3- Put on and fix your lead clip (first the insert with the nipple then the sleeve). Pay attention to the direction of insertion.

4- Make a loop by making a final splice at the end. This will allow you to easily attach your line body.

This anti-fisher type lead clip will perfectly fulfill its role and will face many situations. For my part, I realized a countless number of carp with this anti-fisherman.
