Starbaits M4 EVENT: weekend casting competition for carp anglers

Held at seven different sites throughout the weekend, the M4 EVENT brought together enthusiasts and competitors for Starbaits' signature long-distance casting competition. With its spectacular performances, reliable equipment and new 2026 products, the event perfectly illustrated the brand's DNA.

With the M4 EVENT, Starbaits didn't just offer a simple competition. The brand has imagined a complete event, combining sporting challenge, sharing and showcasing its know-how, both in terms of equipment and product innovation.

A warm welcome

As soon as they arrived at the various sites, participants and visitors were welcomed in a friendly atmosphere with coffee and pastries, encouraging exchanges and good humor before the start of the events. A welcome gesture that reinforces the community spirit so dear to Starbaits.

A demanding and fair competition format

On each of the seven sites, the rules were identical: two practice throws, followed by an officially measured throw, the only one used for the ranking. The aim was clear: to achieve the maximum distance, under strictly controlled conditions.

The 13-foot 3.5-lb M4 at the heart of performance

All casts were made with an M4 Limited Edition rod in 13 ft 3.5 lbs, one of the brand's benchmarks for long-distance casting. Used in particular from the Starbaits pontoon, the flagship product of the range, the equipment enabled participants to exploit their technical potential to the full.

Prestigious awards

At the end of the event, the winner of his site went home with three M4 Limited Edition rods of his choice, rewarding the best performance of the day.

A fact widely emphasized by many participants, confirming the exceptional robustness and reliability of the M4, including the brand-new M4 Limited Edition, even under extreme conditions of use.
