CWC Team

Evert Oostdam and Adam Orre are on the water early to get to the Topwater point hoping to catch the big fish they want before 9am. The strategy: activate the fish by fishing with crankbaits and then go back to the surface. Unfortunately the perch do not come up despite the fish hit with crankbaits. The team decides to change lake to aim for the Top 5 point. First cast and first fish of 46 cm for Evert Oostdam who followed up with a second fish of 45. Adam Orre does his part with a 42 fish and then the team doubles up with 44 and 42 perch to complete the Top 5. Adam Orre then made a superb line with a fish of 50.5 cm! A very important fish as it consolidates their Top 5, represents at this stage the biggest fish of the competition and becomes Adam's brand new personal record!
Humminbird/Vision Team

There is nothing new about the strategy that Frédéric Jullian and Niklaus Bauer will implement for this second day of competition: it will be Topwater. Faced with the inactivity of the fish on lures of sizes corresponding to those of the prey of the large targeted perch, Frederic Jullian decides to fish bigger in order to attack the fish. In the absence of results, the duo decided to stay on the same reach but to change the spot to a sector further downstream in order to fish for structures. The first contacts with big fish were not long in coming but none of them got on board.
Team Bite of Bleak/Lurefans

The team already has 3 points at this stage of the competition. Peter Fredriksson and Pelle Seth decided, like CWC, to start fishing earlier in order to target the Topwater point at the beginning of the day. After 1 hour of fishing and only 4 small fish the team changed their approach by going deeper. The fish of 40+ are not long to return. Then the fishing slowed down until they found a new school of perch and they started to catch big fish again.
Team Sporting

The team did not change their strategy and decided to fish the same lake as the one they had fished on the first day. Despite the results not being up to their expectations, they know the potential. Linnea opens the ball with a first very big fish of 50 cm taken with the Blade Jig! After that, it was quiet for a long time until Linnea made another great catch on his very last cast before the noon call with a superb fish.
Nays Team

Tobias Ekvall and Dustin Schöne decided to change their spot to a lake they had never fished. Dustin logically decides to cover some ground with crankbaits while Tobias focuses on the surface and soon gets a nice first fish of 38 cm. The team then went on to catch a nice series of fish.
Illex/Gunki Team

Marc Ptacovsky and Gaël Even have 1 point, the one for the biggest pole, point shared with Bite of Bleak. For this second day they are on the water late enough to prioritize on the afternoon and evening fishing. They decided to focus on the big fish by starting with a fishing on the bottom with crayfish imitations to switch to a fishing in Topwater at the end of the day.
Team Fox Rage/Salmo

Sylvain Legendre and JB Morel change lake for this second day but the strategy remains the same as the one announced in the first episode: Topwater.
Team CWC Strike King/Lew's

The team is credited with the largest fish in Topwater at the end of the first day with a 41 cm fish. For this third episode, no change: they continue to fish the lake on which they had finished the second episode and remain focused on the surface.
Review of the points

This second day is more competitive as Bite of Bleak only has 2 points... CWC hit hard with 2 points as well, the biggest fish which they share with Sporting, and the Top 5 which Evert Oostdam and Adam Orre share with Bite of Bleak/Lurefans. The last point goes to Nays for the biggest perch in Topwater.
The points of the biggest fish and the Top 5 will be difficult to get because the bar is set high but who knows... On the other hand, the point of the number is playable and as for the first day, the point Topwater is within the reach of any team.
