The Junior Fishing Tour (JFT) is a national circuit of fishing competitions dedicated to young people under 18, supported by the Fédération Nationale de la Pêche en France (FNPF), the Fédération Française des Pêches Sportives (FFPS) and the Groupement des Industriels Français d'Articles de Pêche (GIFAP). It offers two disciplines: spearfishing and lure fishing, with departmental and regional rounds and a national final each year.
How the Junior Fishing Tour works
Open to all young anglers, divided into two main age classes: "Juniors" (10-14 years) and "Espoirs" (14-17 years).
The top finishers in each departmental round go on to the regional finals and then the national finals.
The spirit of the JFT combines conviviality, learning, discovering competition and meeting other young enthusiasts.
