How the event unfolds
Organized by Julien and Pierre from Nautique Services La Rochelle, the event was held on the premises of La Rochelle Nautique, offering a breathtaking view of Europe's largest marina.
11 crews took part in the competition, making the most of an exceptional fishing weekend.

Weather conditions and fishing areas
Saturday: a 1.50 m swell limited the fishing zone in the Pertuis Breton. Despite numerous catches, many bass were not meshed.
Sunday: with superb weather conditions, the fishing zone was extended to include La Tranche-sur-Mer, Île de Ré and Chaucre. However, the majority of participants preferred the Fier d'Ars.

Results and highlights
Day 1:
Catch: 6 boats out of 11 recorded 16 mesh fish.
Best catch: a 68 cm bass caught in the Fier d'Ars by the crew of an XPRo 3D Tender 5.89 DF100.
The day ended with a convivial paella with the participants' families.
Day 2:
The waters were murky due to high tidal coefficients, but the fine weather gave a foretaste of summer. Participants gathered for a shared snack at the Fier d'Ars.
