History
After 10 years' experience in rodbuilding, setting up dozens of rods for my own pleasure and that of friends, and in response to more and more requests, I decided to set up my own business and offer my services to the public.
My goal is to enable anglers to enjoy a customized rod, or to design and assemble a tool that meets specific needs. Every enthusiast has his or her own preferences in terms of handle, finish, power, action and length, and rodbuilding offers the adaptability needed to build that ideal tool.
After a telephone conversation in which we define together the precise specifications of the rod of your dreams, I take care of the rest. From purchasing supplies to assembly.
My aim is to enable every angler to dream of the water's edge, and to treat his rod as a precious tool. That's why you'll receive it with a suedette storage bag to protect it during transport and at home.
Made-to-measure
Of course, like all professional rod fitters, I'll be happy to customize a rod to suit your aesthetic and mechanical needs, whether you're a freshwater or sea angler, ultra-light or in search of giant bluefin tuna. If you know what you want, we'll work together to define the final project, or if you'd rather let me guide you, I'll help you choose the blank, the materials, the accessories and the finishing touches. My primary concern is that the finished product matches the rod you've imagined.
The "series" concept
In addition, I also offer a series of rods designed on the basis of blanks known and recognized by the many rodbuilders in France. These are blanks designed for specific fishing environments and techniques. Among them you'll find many of Rodhouse's best-sellers, which day after day have made the rodbuilding world famous.
Each model comes with a choice of 4 reel seats, as well as ring and ligature colors, for the same price. The starting price includes eva grips and alconite rings, but you can choose to upgrade your rod on the basis of two options. The first targets the finish of the rings for those wishing to be equipped with a Sic or Titanium Torzite frame. The second concerns the material of the grips if you wish to opt for cork or carbon.
