A couple with a passion for fishing
Alphonse Arias is passionate about trout fishing and words. He loves trout and zander fishing. Over the past 50 years, he's been able to drag his rods to many places and on many bodies of water. For many years. A passion he shares with his wife.
As for his wife Isabelle, let's let her husband tell us about her: "Isabelle has always been drawn to nature. When I met her, I reconciled the two passions, fishing and her: she used to come and watch me fish. When our daughter Fanette became independent, and after having often followed me to the water's edge, Isabelle in turn plunged into her passion for fishing (salmonids and predators). Since then, we've shared some magical days together, both in the mountains and on the plains. She excels at toc, bomb and soft lure fishing... Isabelle has also always been interested in photography, and has been in contact with a professional photographer friend. She's also a magician when it comes to her vegetable garden, where she grows almost every vegetable organically!

From the countryside to the mountains
This collection is a form of encounter between images and words. Inspiration for all trout fishing enthusiasts, in sumptuous settings. Pure moments of bohemian life shared as a couple.
"My inspirations come from a long career in communion with Nature and all its magic... Some call me "the fisherman poet", "the magician of words", "the ambassador of dreams"... So, for the time being, I've swapped my fishing rods for my pen, selecting the best of both running and still waters, from the countryside to the mountains. So I went to the clouds, among the stars and the mysteries of the watery depths, to draw the words that make me dream so much. And I leave them to you... With the breeze that comes down from the summits after having smoothed the silky fur of the fierce isards." In her own words, the author reveals the emotions that the waterways bring her.

"What would I do without you, Wild Trout, you filled my childhood dreams with wonder? What would I have left without you to escape so many modern disillusions? You made me aware of poetry, you gave me the sublime emotions that do not fade with time..."
