Test / Lund 2175 Pro-V, a boat backed by over 75 years' experience

Le lund 2175 Pro-V est un le plus gros modèle de la série

In this first part, we introduce you to Lund, a brand inspired by the outdoor activities of the northern United States and boasting renowned expertise.

All North American fishing enthusiasts are familiar with Lund, a brand created in 1948 by Howard Lund in Minnesota (USA). Initially, these were small boats designed for duck hunting, but already built in aluminum. With its success, the brand also began to produce a number of fiberglass models and even sailboats, but not for long. The Pro-V series was introduced in the 1980s and in 2003, Lund was acquired by the Brunswick Group, to which it still belongs.

Since the 80s, the Pro-V series has undergone numerous improvements over the years, most notably for the 2023 model year. These improvements include the hull, which has become more marine-like, as well as the finish and equipment.

The Pro-V series is primarily dedicated to fishing competitions or to the discerning amateur who wants to enjoy a fast, solid and highly versatile boat with all the necessary fishing equipment. It features a hull with a more pronounced V than on a Bass boat and a slightly higher freeboard, opening the door to a wide range of waters. Last but not least, the latest developments make the 2175 even more versatile, since, for example, it can be fitted with a sunbathing area for family outings. The range extends from 18 to 21 feet, with the 2175 as flagship.
