Context of use
School fishing section manager for the past year, I've had a dozen Nexave 2500 Fi reels in the hands of numerous students for 3 hours a week. The use of these reels is therefore both important and sometimes puts the equipment to a severe test. After a year, this model has passed every test with flying colors!

A robust, reliable reel
The first criterion when it comes to my practice is the reliability and sturdiness of the equipment! On this point, the figures speak for themselves. After a year's use, all our reels are running like new and not one has shown a single sign of weakness or mechanical play.
I'm ashamed to say it, but I'm sorry I haven't had the time, but I haven't done any maintenance on these reels all season, and the students haven't necessarily spared them.
Very good fluidity
The Nexave Fi is equipped with 3 steel bearings and 1 stainless steel bearing for smooth, immediate rotation. On a blind test, I'm convinced it would easily pass for a far superior and more expensive model.
For personal use, I'm used to high-end models, and yet I was very pleasantly surprised and satisfied with the fluidity of this model every time I picked it up. There's no sense of pigness at any point.

Advanced technologies
Despite its low price and market segment, the Nexave Fi benefits from some technologies that belong to higher-end models. In particular, they are equipped with AR-C spools, whose lip is designed for long, accurate casts.
What's more, the G Free Body technology used in the design of the reel's body guarantees excellent balance and makes you easily forget its 250 grams. It is indeed heavier than superior models, yet when fishing it doesn't feel that way.
Smooth, gradual braking
Even though I haven't had the chance to test these reels on fish beyond the norm, the drag does its job effectively. It releases the braid progressively during rushes and the adjustment is precise.

A cool look
Design isn't a guarantee of efficiency, but it can be a criterion of choice when investing in equipment. The Nexave's black color, punctuated by blue and silver accents, gives it a certain elegance and a cool, modern look. Students love it!
A very affordable price
Last but not least, because this is often a decisive criterion, the Nexave 2500 Fi is available for between 45 and 60 euros, depending on the store or website. This is a very affordable price for young anglers or beginners who want to get started at a lower cost.
For more experienced anglers, it will fulfill all the tasks entrusted to it and allow them to have a larger budget for lures or rods.
This makes the Nexave Fi an economical, technical and robust entry-level reel!
