An eco-responsible lure
The Biotop Stick is a lure made from renewable resources, in a plastic that does not require the use of petroleum in its manufacturing process. This material was created so that it can be broken down by marine microorganisms without causing toxicity in the water. This lure does not have any paint, again in order to limit pollution, which is very important when using solvent-based paint.
The eyes of the lure are made of glass beads, much more ecological than the classic plastic beads found on the vast majority of commercial hard lures. Finally, this lure, of French design, will be manufactured in France, more precisely in Finistère in the region of Brittany to limit the carbon impact that could result from long distance transport.
Every little detail counts
The design of this lure is without doubt unique. However, other important details have been worked on in order to make this lure as clean as possible. The choice of the hooks by the Fiiish teams was made by VMC, which equipped this lure with simple stainless steel hooks. The latter do not have any coating to avoid having to dip them in baths of chemicals harmful for the environment.
A special effort has also been made to the packaging, eco-designed and printed with vegetable inks. This packaging does not use any glue or staple and is a simple piece of cardboard with a very particular shape so that it can be folded on itself and offer a good protection during transport.
Characteristics and type of fishing
The Biotop stick exists in a 10 cm version for 15.5 grams. The lure is currently available in 3 colors to allow you to adapt to the situations you may encounter on the water. It is a stickbait type surface lure, which is animated in walking-the-dog.
This lure is mainly intended to be used for bass fishing, but will be quite functional in freshwater or for any other surface fishing in the sea. In freshwater, you can use this lure to search for nice perch, black bass and pike in the summer season. For Mediterranean fishermen, this lure will be perfect for wolffish fishing, but also for tassergal and barracuda.
The weight distribution in the body of the lure will allow you to cast it at a good distance, very useful especially if you plan to use it from the shore.
