Hi Tony, this is clearly your episode this one!
Yes, you are right, this is our episode! We are the only ones to have caught fish. We had very difficult conditions, and we knew, finally Stéphane knew how to find the pike-perch by fishing the rocky points very gently. We do not make tons of it unfortunately, but well, it is rather positive!

1 er Throwing and no fish! What happened to the mojo?
And yes this time the first cast is blank! These things happen, it's fishing! We were not on a very obvious spot to fish from the shore. We had to adapt ourselves and I think that we succeeded in doing it with the conditions.
We originally had a plan A that could not be done because of the 50 mm of rain that had fallen 3 days before in one night. The river became stained and it became a disaster. It's a shame, because it was a really exceptional plan. But once again, it's fishing and you have to adapt to the weather. I don't hide you that it was a big blow to the morale for us, but we don't manage too badly.

You are using Black Minnow 160 on a shallow head if I understand correctly. What is the expected action?
So the expected action was clearly a very gliding swim to get up the ridge heads without hitting the rocks. We wanted to fish really, really high to avoid hooking. These are very complicated spots to fish and on which one hangs on a lot, because the ridges of rock are numerous. The shallow head and the BM160 allowed to really go along the breaks without losing lures and to have a clean presentation.

We hear a Berkley team member say, "Our leads are as light as possible and as heavy as necessary." What do you think?
This is a sentence I totally agree with. It means that they have really adapted their sinker to their lure, but also the bottom, the wind and the current in order to have the most natural presentation possible. We know well the extent of the talent of these two fishermen who are really very strong technically and I believe that this sentence full of meaning for a pikeperch fisherman translates this high level of technicality and mastery.

3 points at the end of the episode! We hope there will be at least 1 left at the end of the 4th ème episode.
Clearly we hope to hold on to those 3 points, but we all know the big machines are going to get going at night. But fishing from the edge remains a practice that is not obvious, soâeuros¦
Despite everything, I think that we have a quite honorable score for a fishing from the shore and after the call, we still have 2 or 3 hours of fishing and you will see in the next episode if we will inflate the score!

Thank you very much Tony, we look forward to seeing you this week to find out along with you if you open the meter!
Yes, we are looking forward too, because we are in the dark from this 3rd ème episode and we will discover the rest of the competition at the same time as you. Once again, from now on, we know what we did with Stéphane, but not the others and everything remains possible!
