If you don't want to travel and simply want to fish in a specific place, you will have to choose a specific fishing technique among several possibilities.
Fishing with the blow
At first glance, spearfishing is the easiest practice to set up. A rod, fishing line, a cork, a few small weights, a hook, that's all you need to start fishing with a simple hook. You will also need to choose a bait or baits likely to interest the targeted fish species.
In fresh water, fishing with a shot allows you to catch all kinds of fish. A worm or a maggot for bait and you will have the possibility to fish for white fish (bleak, gudgeon, roach, brèmeâeuros¦). But this practice can also be used to look for trout, fario or rainbow, perch and many other species.
In the sea, the fishing with the blow allows to fish the rock fishes as well as the various species which one can find near the dikes or harbour works.
The fact that you don't have a line reserve limits you to small to medium size catches since it will be difficult to fight a nice fish.
Fishing on the beach
Fishing with a landing allows you to explore further and deeper. In the sea, we talk about surfcasting, a technique that allows you to fish along the beaches or dykes in search of various species. While in fresh water, you can practice for example the feeder fishing for white fish or carp fishing. The fishing known as the landing is practiced with a casting rod (equipped with rings) and a spinning reel.
Waiting or bringing in the fish?
Different fishing techniques where the fisherman waits for the fish to pass by his bait. For the fishing with the blow or the fishing with the feeder it is possible and recommended to bait its fishing station to make come the fish more quickly. The bait is a preparation of various ingredients that are thrown little by little on the fishing spot in order to increase the chances of capture.
