A physical simulator
A fishing simulator is a device connected to a real fishing rod, which simulates the defense of different fish (trout, pike, tuna, etc.) thanks to a sophisticated motor. The user experiences attacks, rushes and headbutts as if fighting a real fish. Some models are connected to a video screen that displays underwater images of the fight, making the experience highly immersive. These simulators are used for training, thrill-seeking or equipment demonstrations, and enable practice at home, in the store or at events, whatever the weather.
Simulators aim to faithfully reproduce the sensations of fishing, whether through physical experience or graphic and sound simulation.

Wrestling with different fish
A physical fishing simulator, which reproduces the fight with different fish thanks to a combination of advanced mechanics and software simulationâeuros¯:
The simulator is equipped with a motor that generates variable forces on the rod, imitating the attacks, rushes, headbutts and specific behaviors of each species of fish, from a small carnivore to a 30âeuros¯kg tuna.
The user selects the type of fish to be fought (sea bream, wolffish, bonito, trevally, etc.) and the level of difficulty. Each fish behaves differently: some dive, others headbutt or suddenly accelerate, and these reactions are transmitted in real time to the angler via the rod.
The motor adapts tension and resistance to the actions of the simulated fish, forcing the angler to use technique and dexterity to reel in the fish without "âeuros¯casserâeuros¯" the line or losing the catch.

A synchronized video screen displays the fight underwater, showing the fish's reactions in real time, increasing immersion and allowing you to follow the evolution of the fight.
The simulator can signal technical errors (poor tension management, excessive release, etc.) and penalize the angler, making the experience as demanding as real fishing.

In this way, the simulator faithfully reproduces the diversity of fights, providing anglers with sensations close to the real thing, and effective training in fight management according to the target species.
