How did that premiere at the Grand Pavois go for you?
All right. This was our first time participating, and we're leaving with more than a dozen qualified leads.
The audience is knowledgeable: we had some real technical discussions with fishermen and industry professionals who came to learn about the boat?s design and construction. For a shipyard like ours, that?s exactly what we were looking for.
Why did you choose this trade show for your first presentation?
Our new model is a rigid-hulled inflatable boat designed for fishing, and the Grand Pavois features a dedicated area for this activity. So we knew we?d be reaching the right audience.
It was also an opportunity to raise our profile along the Atlantic coast. Finally, September is a good time: a boat ordered in the fall can be built over the winter and delivered in time for the following season.
Tell us about this new boat
The ESTILO Fishing is a semi-rigid boat measuring 6.70 m long by 2.53 m wide , 100% aluminum, 100% custom-made, and 100% made in France.
It features a 5083 marine-grade aluminum hull and ORCA Hypalon floats from Pennel & Flipo, mounted on removable battens. This design allows the floats to be removed and worked on without the need for a crane.
The engine is a Suzuki DF250 Kuro , the 250 ch V6 from the Stealth Line lineup in a matte black finish, as part of a partnership with Suzuki Marine.
The entire boat is built at our shipyard in Hyères: design, sheet metal work, welding, upholstery, deck hardware, and engine installation?all done in-house, with no subcontracting. Each vessel is customized according to the owner?s specifications and needs.
The ESTILO Fishing is available starting at 75,000 euros , with a financing option available.
What did you like best about the trade show? Are there any areas for improvement?
What we appreciated most was the quality of the interactions. Visitors took the time to explore the boats and asked the right questions. The atmosphere among the exhibitors in the fishing area was also excellent.
As for improvements, we don't have anything in particular to report: the organization was top-notch from start to finish.
Will you be back next year?
Yes. We'll be back with a new boat on display at the booth and another one in the water , so that visitors can also check out our RIBs on the water.
