Organizing Women's Sport Fishing
The goal is clear: to support female anglers at every stage of their journey, from their first experiences to competitive participation, by fostering their progress within a supportive and encouraging environment. Through a series of targeted initiatives, the FFPS aims to establish a sustainable framework for the development of women?s sport fishing.
This program is structured around several complementary initiatives: organizing supervised outings and training camps, implementing a plan to increase the representation of women in national delegations, and launching the ?Les Ambassadrices? program, designed to highlight inspiring career paths and encourage others to pursue similar careers.
Beyond the sport itself, this initiative also aims to promote the role of women in all aspects of the discipline: from recreational and competitive sports to elite competition, as well as in coaching, management, and governance roles.

4 major areas
The program is organized around four main areas:
1. Campaign Featuring Inspiring Portraits
The FFPS will highlight the stories of women involved in sport fishing?whether as competitors, volunteers, coaches, or leaders. These profiles will be shared on social media and featured in local and specialized publications under the unifying slogan: ?They bring our sport to life.?
2. Women's Sport Fishing Week
A themed week will be held from October 12 to 18, 2026, in conjunction with the Pink October campaign. It will feature media coverage and a highlight event on October 17 and 18, likely in the Côtes-d'Armor department. On the agenda: meet-and-greets with female athletes, free introductory sessions, workshops exploring the role of women in the sport, target-throwing competitions, and an awards ceremony.
3. Video Content Production
A series of videos will highlight the diversity of women?s journeys and commitments in sport fishing. These videos will highlight the passion, the balance between personal, professional, and athletic life, as well as the achievements and testimonials of female anglers. They will be shared on major digital platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) as well as with partners and institutions.
4. Media Partnerships
Specific efforts will be made to work with the local and specialized press to ensure maximum visibility for the program and its activities. In particular, there will be media coverage of the ceremony for the target-throwing competition, which will be attended by partners and institutional representatives.

Through this structured and proactive approach, the FFPS reaffirms its commitment to bringing about lasting change in the role of women in sport fishing by promoting their access, advancement, and recognition at all levels of the sport.
