The young competitors vie for the titles of French Champion in coarse fishing and French Champion in lure fishing for predatory fish. About a hundred talented young anglers, selected from their respective regions, compete for these prestigious titles, which mark the pinnacle of junior competition in France.

The competition will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Rouanneraies site in Fillé-sur-Sarthe in the Sarthe department, 14 km from Le Mans. The competition begins at 7:00 a.m. The Fishing Village is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The grand awards ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. Food and drinks will be available on site.
