Understanding tomorrow's market
An initiative of GIFAP (Groupement de l'Industrie Française d'Articles de Pêche) and USC (Union des Entreprises du Sport et du Cycle), with the support of brands and players in the industry. Founded in 1952, GIFAP is a trade association dedicated to defending the economic, technical and regulatory interests of fishing tackle manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers on the French market.
Over the decades, the fishing market has undergone profound changes, marked âeuros as in many other sectors âeuros by the merger of companies into large groups, often on an international scale, but also by the disappearance of numerous small and medium-sized structures.
