First round
The first round of the Grand Pavois Fishing 2025 was held on Friday, September 26, from 8am to 1pm, off the coast of La Rochelle.
The first round saw excellent weather conditions, with 12 teams recording at least one mesh-caught sea bass. Only the Yamaha Pro Fishing 3 team finished with the quota (5 fish), including a 65 cm sea bass.
The biggest fish was caught by the Honda Marine - Kerfil crew, who caught a 78 cm bass in the very first hour of competition. Also of note was a fine fourth place for the all-women crew led by the Syndicat des Moniteurs de Pêche, who caught 3 fish, including a 68 cm beauty.
That's almost 20.74 m of fish caught, for a total of 38 fish, with an average catch of 54.58 cm.

Second round and final ranking
The second round got underway on Sunday, September 28, in fine weather. YamahaProFishing 3 took second place, and the undisputed winner of this new edition. YamahaProFishing 1 won the second round and took second place in the competition. In third place on the podium was the Honda Marine - Kerfil team, ahead of the girls' team, who proved their consistency, with 3 fish in the second heat, to take a fine fourth place overall.
A total of 88 meshed fish were caught over the two legs, with an average of 51.92 cm per catch and over 45 meters of fish. 21 teams caught at least one fish.
Final ranking for the 2025 edition
- YamahaProFishing 3 with 520 points
- YamahaProFishing 1 with 330 points
- Honda Marine - Kerfil with 317 points
And the girls' crew finished fourth with 297 points.
