When Axopar set foot in the United States for the first time, many observers looked on with amusement or curiosity. However, it didn't take long for the brand to impose its dayboat concept around the world, showing that there are different ways of designing a boat.
A highly competitive category
A tour de force that the company intends to repeat in the center console category. Traditionally occupied in Europe by small hulls dedicated to fishing or cruising, this segment is even more popular in North America with brands such as Boston Whaler, Pursuit, Yellowfin, Intrepid and many more. However, these American brands generally offer very hollow boats with very pronounced V's, which are often heavy and require a lot of power to express themselves.
A very competitive price
The Axopar explores a different path, offering a much lighter and more agile boat without sacrificing strength. What's more, the design is radically different and much more modern. Finally, the 29 CCX offers a modularity that is virtually impossible to find on these traditional center console boats. The Finnish boat can also count on a number of clever features in terms of modularity and storage.
In addition to its agility, the 29 CCX has another major advantage: its price. The Axopar starts at €66,500 excluding tax without engine, and at €112,300 with a 400 hp Mercury engine. Even with options, the Axopar comes in at less than €220,000 ($230,000), which is truly competitive with most center consoles on the market, for a boat capable of satisfying the desires of almost everyone.
