Strike description
This Strike has just arrived at the Landrévarzec store. It's a display model that I've been able to dissect on the spot, with the first series dedicated to sales coming soon. Its main program is for freshwater fishing, and it will find its niche on large lakes, ponds and rivers. It comes with a large paddle, but is designed to be motorized. It can be fitted with a front motor or a more conventional rear motor. Given its shape and size, the paddle is only for short distances or as a back-up (it's compulsory to take one on board).
A fishing platform
Measuring 2 metres long by 1 metre wide by 45 cm high, this fishing platform is stable. To make it easier to move its 19 kg weight, it has integrated wheels at the rear. When it comes to seating, it's the ultimate in luxury. This fishing platform comes with a raised seat as standard. This chair can be set in 3 positions, one forward, one aft and a higher intermediate position. As an option, it features a high, 360° swivel bassboat-style seat, which black bass anglers will appreciate. Numerous inserts are molded into the hull to accommodate different equipment.
In the video at the end of this article, I've fitted it with a number of Railblaza accessories. The inserts are the same size as the receivers from this New Zealand accessory brand. Rod holders, screen supports, camera poles, you can equip it according to your needs. A cable gland for the electronic power supply is pre-installed. A round screwed hatch provides access to this part of the hull. Numerous mouldings are placed on the flat edges to hold your lures and small accessories. It also features a large sounding well with protective cover.
Behind the seat is a battery compartment with retaining strap. The hull features carrying handles, molded handles and front and rear mooring cleats. The front of the hull is protected by reinforcements.

Personal opinion
A beautiful finish, a plethora of standard equipment, a multi-faceted product. I'll have a chance to take it out on the water soon, and I'll report back at that time. It complements a somewhat similar model I presented last year, the Ranger, same size but different shape. I repeat, this is not a product dedicated to sea fishing, given its dimensions. It can, however, be used on salt ponds or at the bottom of protected roads or bays (within the 300 m limit), or as a tender.
