I have tested... / Aquos Haswing Cayman T, the ideal motor for a float-tube!

The Haswing Cayman T electric motor is rated at 55 lbs, and comes with a wireless remote control. This remote control allows you to vary the motor's speed and change its direction. A wired pedal version is also available.

The motor's direction of rotation cannot be changed, so to change the boat's direction, you need to rotate the motor 180 degrees. As the motor can be rotated using the remote control, changing direction is not complicated, but takes a little longer than with a conventional motor, where you simply have to change the direction of rotation of the motor.

This maintains the optimal direction of rotation of the motor, both forward and reverse, and therefore the best performance of the motor and its propeller. However, it would have been nice to be able to vary the direction of rotation, especially when untangling weeds around the propeller.

Numerous motor speeds are available to adapt the boat's speed to the fishing situation at hand, especially when fishing vertically.

Installing this motor is very simple: simply attach it to its vertcial support and connect it to a battery. A 100 Ah slow-discharge battery is ideal. At full speed, the motor still consumes power, and a 50 Ah battery is too weak.

The motor and its pivoting system weigh 12 kilograms, so you'll need a boat with good lift, especially if you want to install it on a float-tube. What's more, since it has a power rating of 55 Lbs, not all boats can accept its maximum speed, so you need to use it properly.

For ease of transport, a cleverly placed handle allows easy, balanced lifting.

The workmanship is good, inspiring confidence, and the power cable already has a quick-fit connector for connection.

The Haswing Cayman T motor can be fitted to a wide range of watercraft, including boats, kayaks and float tubes. For the latter, the float-tube, this motor is just excellent and perfectly adapted! Not only does it offer wireless control, but it can also be used to modify steering, making it a great alternative to remote control, which only controls motor speed.

My first impressions of this engine, in terms of build quality, performance and ease of use, are very good! The only unknown factor is its reliability, which needs to be tested in more detail! For the time being, the remote control and propeller can be purchased separately, which is a good thing as far as durability and the ability to repair certain parts of this motor are concerned.
