Mercury Marine signs a partnership with Sailtica Fishing

For the second year running, Mercury Marine France is partnering Sailtica Fishing, a lure fishing competition organized by the Festi'Mer association. The event will take place on May 25 and 26 in La Turballe.

A competition open to all anglers

This sport fishing competition is open to all, with crews of two or three anglers per motorboat. The event emphasizes conviviality and good humor, and encourages exchange and communication.

"We're proud to renew our partnership with such a well-known brand as Mercury, which does so much for recreational fishing. After a very satisfactory first year, we're taking our partnership to a new level by signing a major partnership this year. I'm also very happy because I myself own a Centaure RIB with a latest-generation Mercury V6 225 hp engine. Mercury powers fishing and my boat!" declares Grégorie Lebrunet, president of the Festi'Mer association.

Mercury Marine, via its French subsidiary, is involved in both recreational and competitive fishing. It is a partner in several competitions in France, including the famous MFC (Mercury Fishing Cup) organized with the Fédération Française de Pêche Sportive (FFPS), billed as the biggest freshwater and boat fishing competition of the year.

A special relationship

Yann Diquerreau, Marketing Manager, Mercury Marine France, comments: "Mercury Marine is a long-standing partner of anglers in France, Europe and around the world. The brand works with local, national and international marine and freshwater competitions. By renewing its partnership with Sailtica Fishing after a very conclusive first year, Mercury wishes to maintain this privileged relationship with the organizers, other partners and competitors."

As for the tenth edition of the Sailtica Fishing in 2023, Mercury Marine France will welcome the 184 participants, volunteers and partners on Friday evening with a welcome drink in the port of La Turballe.
