Hardworm or Korean worm, a versatile bait for year-round use

The Korean hard worm is the best known worm used as bait for sea fishing. An imported worm, which gives good results because of its good holding and its versatility.

Import worms

Hard worms are worms originating from Asia unlike the green half-hard worms originating from Europe. They are also called Korean worms or jumbo, red hard or green hard, they are resistant and easy to use whatever the fishing techniques.

Whether you are fishing with a jigger, surfcasting, laying or supporting, from the shore or from a boat, hard worms are a must-have bait.

The size of the worm, sold in boxes in most fishing stores, is about 10 cm. There are even worms of almost 20 cm which are sold under the name Jumbo. The worm looks like a centipede with its bangs all along its body. It is green to brown on the back with a lighter, white to pink belly. Its rounded head has a mouth with two fangs. At night, its body tends to be phosphorescent.

A good hold on the hook

The hard worm is one of the most used worms by sea fishermen. A worm that remains accessible, because it is one of the cheapest, and is effective on many species of fish. As its name indicates, the hard worm is rather tough and holds well on the hook.

In addition to the fact that the hard worm is a rather firm worm, it is also very resistant and retains an important attraction for a long time, which is far from being negligible during a fishing party.
