A color that is out of the ordinary
We are not going to detail here all the Black Minnow range, nor present this lure which has become an absolute must for any fisherman looking for sea bass but also any marine or freshwater predator. Let's focus on this new color, French Paradise.
I tended to focus on the so-called natural colors. So I took a 90° turn with this choice even if in reality, I must admit, I strongly appreciate the pink color of Black Minnow.

When you look at this lure, 3 shades stand out:
- Its transparent belly is common to many lures.
- In the middle of this one, a fluorescent yellow line comes to demarcate the back of the belly.
- Finally, the back, with a blue color tending to turquoise, is close to a color that I would describe as natural.
This yellow line, which many lures on the market have, is a marker that usually brings me good results. I can't explain exactly why. It's one of the mysteries of fishing that I'm forced to admit without having the real explanation.

Available in 2 sizes
This color is currently only available as a double combo, which means that you will have 2 fully mounted lures.

You can use it in size 2, that is to say in 90 mm, mounted on a Search lead head in 8 grams or in size 3, that is to say in 120 mm, with a Search lead head in 18 grams. This model in size 3 is mounted with a glass rattle.
Its animation
I used it mainly from the shore, looking for the first sea bass of the season on the coasts of northern Brittany.
These weights suit me perfectly with a strictly personal preference for the size 3, both because it allows me to gain in casting distance from its heavier head but also because this size in 120 mm corresponded well to the prey present on the area.
I've had the best results with linear casting and reeling. After casting, I let it sink to the bottom and then start the retrieve with the reel. At times, I stop the reel to let it go back down before starting again. It is in fact during this stop that most of the hits are triggered. If there are active fish in the area, you'll soon find out.

Under what conditions?
I have used it in all weathers, in fine or rough seas, in clear weather or in the rain, with crystal clear water or on the contrary with very heavy water.
I get the best results at daybreak, when the light is low or when the sky is slightly overcast with a little tinted water.

Its color, fluorescent, must be better distinguished in these conditions. I also remind you that fish do not perceive colors as we see them but perceive contrasts.
What about the next step?
This lure will undoubtedly be part of my tackle box and will accompany me on all my fishing trips. For the fans of the famous Zander Pro in which a Rodhouse/Fiiish team is involved, you will notice that this color is also very appreciated by the pike perches.
This color is new for 2021, let's hope that in the future it will be available in bigger sizes and also in other formats than double combo, that will allow to associate any lead head adaptable on Black Minnow in size 2 or 3.
