Guillaume Fourrier

Guillaume Fourrier Specialist of sea fishing, author and holder of numerous records

Licensed to the French Federation of Sport Fishing (FFPS), Guillaume Fourier, french sport fisherman, is the proud holder of 28 world, European and French records for catching large fish between 2009 and 2018, including one pollock, four cod, one curly ray and two sea bass.

Having spent his childhood by the sea, it is during a fishing party improvised by a friend that Guillaume caught the sea fishing bug. He was 12 years old and spent all his free time learning and perfecting his fishing techniques. At 18, after a season of sea rescue, he buys his first boat, to multiply the fishing techniques.

In 2003, he launched the association PecheWeb, whose goal is to promote the development of all sport fishing techniques at sea. In 2004, he studied the behavior of different lures (without hooks) on sea bass in captivity at the Sea fishing discovery center, Mareis .

He realizes or intervenes in several video reports such as The bar with the lures of the edge edited by Videotel International or even Tracking down the big bass with the same publisher in 2007. He is also the author of a dozen books on fishing, published between September 2009 and March 2018 by Vagnon.

In 2005 and 2006, he became interested in no-kill tropical fish fishing in New Caledonia and became an editor for two French magazines. In 2007, he became product manager and team manager for the brand Sakura Fishing where he develops rods, reels and lures for the European market. He is since the beginning of 2012 Marketing Director for Daiwa Company .
