BlueNav on tour to democratize intelligent navigation

BlueNav launches a Demo Tour to showcase its intelligent navigation system on the Atlantic coast.

Demo Tour

BlueNav, a French company specializing in hybrid propulsion and intelligent navigation solutions, is out to meet the boating industry with its very first Demo Tour. The aim: to put its technologies to the test directly on the water, aboard its demonstration boat, the BlackPearl.

The latter, an AtlantiCraft equipped with a hybrid drive system combining a combustion engine and two 8 kW electric motors, will serve as a technological showcase. On board, professionals, shipyards, operators and yachtsmen will be able to try out the solutions developed by BlueNav in real-life conditions.

4 strategic ports of call on the Atlantic coast

The Demo Tour will run from June 2 to 10, 2026, with several key stops on the Atlantic coast:

  • Lorient, at the Navexpo trade show, June 2-4
  • Vannes, June 5
  • Les Sables-d'Olonne, June 8
  • La Rochelle, June 9 and 10

At each stopover, onboard demonstrations will showcase the main features of the BlueNav ecosystem. These include the Virtual Anchor, Smart Mooring, 360° Docking and the dedicated smartphone application.

These technologies are designed to simplify maneuvers and make navigation smoother, more intuitive and less stressful, for both yachtsmen and professionals.

On to the Mediterranean

The Demo Tour will continue from June 23 to 25 on the Catalan coast and in the south of France, between Cadaqués and Banyuls. This area, which is particularly sensitive to environmental issues, is ideal for showcasing the benefits of BlueNav technology.

The patented Virtual Anchor enables a boat to be held in position with a GPS precision of ±20 cm, without the need for a physical anchor. This solution limits the impact on the seabed, particularly on Posidonia meadows, while responding to increasingly frequent anchoring restrictions.

Compatible with units up to 22 meters, both as original equipment and retrofits, this technology is aimed at a wide range of users.

"There's no substitute for experience on the water. This Demo Tour is an opportunity to discover in concrete terms how BlueNav is transforming sailing: less stress, more freedom and a new way of experiencing your boat by revealing its full potential," emphasizes Xavier Lachérade, CEO of BlueNav.
