Following a successful debut on the Atlantic coast, BlueNav is continuing with a summer tour of the Mediterranean. The French company, which specializes in hybrid propulsion and smart navigation solutions, invites industry professionals and recreational boaters to join them from July 1 to 3, 2026, for three stops between Spain and France.

Several dates

There are three dates scheduled for this Mediterranean Demo Boat Tour:

  • Roses (Spain): July 1
  • Cadaqués (Spain): July 2
  • Banyuls-sur-Mer (France): July 3

At each stop, visitors will be able to board the BlackPearl, an AtlantiCraft equipped with an internal combustion engine paired with two 8-kW BlueNav electric motors. The goal is clear: to offer a hands-on experience with the technologies developed by the brand under real-world sailing conditions.

Technologies designed to simplify navigation

BlueNav highlights its Smart Navigation ecosystem, designed to make maneuvering easier and improve comfort on board. Among the features showcased during this tour:

  • Patented Virtual Anchor
  • Smart Mooring
  • 360° Docking
  • Control via smartphone using the BlueNav app

These solutions are designed to provide greater precision and control, while reducing stress during critical phases such as docking or maintaining position.

A Concrete Response to Environmental Challenges

The choice of the Mediterranean is not insignificant. The region faces significant environmental challenges, particularly the preservation of Posidonia seagrass beds, which are essential to the balance of marine ecosystems.

In this context, the Virtual Anchor is one of BlueNav?s key features. This technology allows a boat to remain in position without a physical anchor, thereby preventing any contact with the seabed. Thanks to the GPS Precision+ system, the advertised accuracy is ±20 cm.

Compatible with units up to 22 meters, for both original equipment and retrofit applications, this solution is designed for both recreational boaters and marine industry professionals.

User experience at the heart of the approach

For Xavier Lachérade, CEO of BlueNav, the appeal of this Demo Boat Tour is, above all, experiential:
"Boaters and professionals who test BlueNav consistently highlight the same benefits: accuracy, control, and safety. Nothing beats spending a few minutes on the water to understand the real value of these technologies."

With this Mediterranean tour, BlueNav is continuing its strategy of field demonstrations, relying on real-world testing to win over an audience that is increasingly receptive to technological innovations and environmental issues.
