Réglementation 2026 bar et lieu, administration update

This is the first time we've had an official clarification, and that's great! As I often say, until the EU's Official Journal is published, generally on February 1st of the current year, the previous year's regulations apply.

Following the recent meeting of the European Union's TAC and Quotas Commission, there is a lot of information circulating about possible changes in recreational fishing regulations, particularly concerning sea bass and pollack. To avoid any confusion, it is useful to take stock of the rules currently applicable.

No new European regulations applicable at this stage. The TAC and Quotas regulation for 2026 has not yet been published. Consequently, no new provisions can be applied, and fishermen must continue to refer to the texts in force.
