Both engines can be mounted at 26" centres, making them ideal for retrofitting to boats originally equipped with the Verado L6 or competing outboards.
In addition, Digital Throttle & Shift controls are standard on the new engines.
A joystick steering option for exceptional control and precision is also available.
Availability
The new outboard engines, as well as the current 400 hp model, are now available from Mercury dealers.

"These new Verado V10 engines reflect our commitment to giving boaters exactly what they've been asking for: more performance with the same smooth, refined experience they've come to expect from Mercury," said John Buelow, president of Mercury Marine. "With this launch, we're raising the bar in the high-horsepower category and reaffirming the Verado family's position as the pinnacle of high-end outboard performance."
These new engines aim to deliver superior performance while maintaining Mercury's reputation for smooth, quiet operation.
