Bars are growing - and that's a good sign
Since the start of the season, scores have improved crescendo in terms of bass size. Indeed, average sizes of 60 or 65 cm are commonplace.

I don't necessarily catch record specimens or fish, but the average is generous. Recently, with very small bib lures of less than 8 cm, my customers have been catching bass from 50 to 65 cm, with a 79 cm that was almost caught on sight 15 metres from the boat. I've seen huge chases and boils over an area the size of a soccer pitch, in the middle of summer!

This is a really good sign for the future, as bars are clearly getting healthier.
What about yellow leagues? Record pending validation!
As for the yellow spot, the season got off to a crazy start. I enabled a great many customers to break their records in both size and weight. What's more, I had the opportunity to land a big 90 cm fish on fine line, which is currently in the process of being certified as a French record on 10 lb line.

I've caught bigger ones, but on thicker lines whose old records are out of my reach, unless I'm really lucky.
IGFA Captain and Captain BGFCF
I'm delighted to have been awarded these two prestigious labels. The members of the BGFCF have the experience of years and the experience of the diversity of their trips. It's an honor to have been certified by the "Big Game Fishing Club de France" and the IGFA for my new activity as a fishing instructor-guide.

I strive to maintain a high level of preparation, and my fishing days are meticulously planned and tailor-made, so that every catch is a success, with comfort and beautiful fish. My driving force is my real and unwavering passion for fishing, but these titles reinforce my motivation to offer a premium service.
