New Garmin Spectra module, synchronize the lights on your boat

Garmin has announced the launch of the Spectra LED control module. A compact lighting controller that makes it easy to manage on-board LED lighting from a compatible Garmin plotter or the ActiveCaptain app on a compatible smartphone.

Control your lighting

The integrated system allows sailors to manage and synchronize onboard lighting from a compatible plotter, stereo or smartphone. From bow to stern, the Garmin Spectra module allows sailors to control LED lighting for marine speakers, subwoofers, JL Audio and Fusion towerspeakers, as well as LED tubes, ceiling lights, cup holders and underwater lighting.

When coupled with Fusion Apollo marine stereo equipment, users can also manage scene selection and LED effects directly from the stereo equipment. For premium on-board entertainment, it is possible to visualize the rhythm of the music by using the audio synchronization function to synchronize the LEDs with the musical ambience.

Easy installation and configuration

Easy to configure and install via the NMEA 2000 network, this new control module integrates perfectly with existing lighting on the boat. Its comprehensive design also allows it to be installed in confined spaces. Available with one or three outputs (< 2 A per output), it offers a unique upgradeable design, enabling boaters to add more lights and expand their system after initial configuration.

Prices and availability

The Garmin Spectra module is available now at a recommended retail price of ?249.99 for the three-output model (LC302) and ?149.99 for the single-output model (LC102). It is compatible with current Garmin trackers.
